Jake's Marine Corp Graduation

Training ground. Right by San Diego Airport on MCRD grounds. Looks fun to me, however I would not have a DI yelling at me.

Last couple minutes of family day. Jake shaking Joe's hand for a goodnight farewell. Wish we could take him home with us. So sad.

Jake's first time checking his ATM balance ever. He was so excited to have earned money. It was just too cute.

Our first family picture. With baby X in tow and all. Cyndi was the most fantastic pregnant person ever. Never one complain. I love her so much. Baby brother kicked with excitement as his big brother just completed his graduation.

Day one was kinda overwhelming for all of us. We walked about 10 miles, Cyndi was such a trooper being 31 almost 32 weeks pregnant.

I think we were all over stimulated.

Jake's Marine Corp Graduation

** A special thank you to Cyndi for taking all the photo's. She is really my angel**First call to Grandma. While she had to remain in Arizona with what is expected to be H1N1, I wanted his number one supporter to not miss out on anything.
First hug from mom. I cried like a baby. Jake and I butt heads often, we always have. Ironically it makes me love him only more. It makes no sense to me. I missed him so much, cried often and was happy to see him again. 20pounds lighter. HE WAS ALREADY TOO THIN. Double rations did not help him do anything but loose weight. How would that be? Well I don't want the work that comes with those double rations.

Jake is in the center. The lightest color of skin. We had not talked to him yet. The tension was high.

One of our first pics of Jake. He sure looks handsome all Marined out. He is Jake, always will be, always will walk his own step. We love him so much. He had a smile I never had seen before. I hope his growth continues as he furthers himself in life. Just wish he did not have to be away from us to do it.

About 500 new Marines graduated. It felt like we were being invaded.

Oh how children steal your heart and soul. I support our troops, however I am not shy to admit I do not believe in war and I do not like the fact my child is serving in a war time with such high stakes. I have to say this only makes me more proud of him, however his graduation is bitter sweet. I know this statement is up for much debate, however after all is said, at the end of the day, I am a mother to a 19 year old boy who just signed up battle.

Updates on our life.

So we hit 30 weeks last Sunday. Baby has kicked less, but is still moving. Cyndi's belly is more beautiful everyday. We are feeling rushed to get things accomplished prior to his arrival.
Jake graduates as a Marine on the 16th in San Diego, so hopefully we will all be able to go.

Cyndi has another OBGYN appt tomorrow. They are sooooo boring. I have to work, it will be the second one I have missed. It makes me feel bad but with a new job you have to do the best you can to make everyone happy.

We are thrilled to have our car seat now. That was really making me anxious not having it ready. We have to get two more bases. One for Cyndi's car, and one for my Mom's car.

Speaking of my mom, she is having a baby shower for us, so I am working on the dates, themes etc. We have a really hard time accepting gifts so we will see how it goes.
We are just ready to meet our baby. After holding our friends son Blaze, we are really ready for our to get here. We make bets all the time, like if she will go into labor, if he will be early or late, how much he weighs etc.. It is a lot of fun.

I have to tell my mom thank you for all you do. You are so wonderful to us.
And a HUGE thank you to my beautiful wife Cyndi. She is such a good pregnant mom. She is my every breath, my whole world.

Baby clothes, Mr. Man, and a new hair cut for Joe

Pee Wee has been sick AGAIN. He is on four medications now. One makes him really sleepy. Does he look tired. He does get home cooked chicken and rice for meals now which he loves.
Joe's new haircut.

I have told everyone I had an addiction to buying baby clothes. These drawers are full and are only 0-3 months.

The plastic bin has clothes 3-6 and 6-9 months. Also full and bursting at the seams.

Yep, more clothes. The bottom row is Newborn and 0-3 mos. The top row is everything else. He has so many clothes I don't think he will have time to wear them before he grows out of them. ******Hi my name is Chantelle, I am a baby clothing shopaholic. It has been 10 days since I last bought baby clothing****** Baby socks don't count.

Joe's haircut was actually a punishment, however I do like it so much more when it is short. If you see him on here skin bald, you will understand why. Kids can be so stubborn sometimes. I love him all the same, but 16/18 years old is a tough age to handle.

Nursery and a few new things we bought.

One more of little X's room.
That is his room at a glance. It seemed a fairly big room until we added all his new stuff. Now it is cramped.

Some of our homemade wall decorations and stuffed toys Thanks to Grandma Martin. Grandma Ann painted the ocean picture for us.

Our new Chicco car seat and travel system. It was not the color we wanted, so we bought the new color out this year. It reminds me of a Coach bag. Too bad I am not into purses.

This is the new swing we bought on sale. It does a 3 in 1 thing. They probably all do, but it is all new to me.

30 week belly shots. We are in the single digit week countdown. 9w5d left.

We made it thirty weeks. SO So so HAPPY. Baby X is moving but it seems to be less and less. He moves more and kicks less to be more precise. I am missing his kicks, they make me fall in love him all over again.
I like straight on shots. Her belly is so pretty. I would show that off all the time. She thinks she will get an outie on her belly button. I did not think so originally but maybe she will.

Just so pretty.

She was in mid giggle. Sorry. But I love her belly.
So please keep us in your thoughts, we are almost there. We can't wait to meet him.

28 week Belly Shot

This is 28 weeks. We only have 12 more weeks to go. I am hoping she will go around 38 weeks, but I have a feeling she is going to either not start labor on her own, or she will go over 40 weeks. I can't wait. She wants a traditional birth and has not decided on an epidural or not. I am in love more each day I see my beautiful wife changing and growing, I feel our baby kicking like crazy. We cant wait to meet this little boy in there.

She is so wonderful. And the best mom ever. Baby X is lucky to have her for a mama. He will always be number one to her. Well tie for number one anyway.
