Growing Fast

Xander is almost 2 months old and the Reiter-Belcher house hold is starting to calm down! No one ever really tells you just how CRAZY life is with a little one. We've had very late nights, and even earlier mornings, a messy house, poppy smelly diapers and crying loud enough the neighbors can hear (I am not talking about Xander:) BUT its all worth it, I couldn't ever image life without him. He is the best gift God could ever give to us. He is growing up so fast! He moved into his own room a week ago and he is sleeping in his own Big Boy Bed. I cant believe how great of a baby he is, we put him in his bed about 8ish and he lays there for awhile and then closes his eyes and hes out! He wakes normally only once around 2 to eat and then up for the day around 5:30. We were gifted a camera monitor from a friend so we can see him while he is in bed. It is amazing the things he does while he is sleeping. The other night Chantelle woke me up and said that Xander was sucking his thumb, Sure enough he was!!! I was a thumb sucker so I was pumped, but Chantelle says she hates it (but admits that it is so cute)... He is now all about his thumb!

I love his hands! That is not dirt under his nails, I was trying to hand print him and he was not to compliant so I got that black ink everywhere!

Peewee is adjusting with not being the baby but he is not too happy with it. :)

Xander on our morning walk, he is just resting his eyes!!!

He is so serious!

One Month Old

Xander is One Month Old!!! I can't believe how fast time goes by. He is changing everyday and getting so strong. He holds his head up and wants to stand. He has started to smile and now its not just from gas:) The other day we put on Finding Nemo and he wouldn't take his eyes off the T.V. I still can't believe that he is ours. We are starting to get in the groove of things, I have to admit it was more dificult then I thought it would be. He is not much of a sleeper but for the most part he is in a good mood.
Chantelle is the greatest mom, she does everything for our boys and she works full time. She goes off no sleep and still finds time for me. I am the luckest girl in the world, I have the best family anyone could ever ask for! Thank you for everything you do Chantelle, I love you!!!

Welcome Xander

Xander Kai Reiter-Belcher was born on December 10th 2009 at 1045 a.m. His wt was 8.7 pounds and 21 inches long. Head circ. was 14.5. His Apgar scores were 9 and 9 and that was after 30 hours of labor six of which she was at a 10 and complete, but the Doctor tended to another family whose baby became stressed right when we were going to start pushing. We understand and was told the baby was fine, but of course it was nerve racking waiting to push when the baby's head was already crowning. The first thing we noticed was he had dark hair. A bit of a surprise, but it may still lighten up. If not Cyndi loves dark hair. Obviously eye color is to soon to know for sure, but we are hoping for blue eyes. Sorry it took awhile to get pics updated hopefully you will be able to catch up.

Thank you to all our friends, and family for the loving support. Please just let us know if you would like to come meet our new little one. We don't take him out much but you are always welcome to our home if you are in the area.

We feel forever blessed. Still a bit stressed, but FOREVER BLESSED.
Our family is one step closer to being complete. Xander one day will to be a big brother.

First Dr. Apt getting PKU and Bili checked. He was not very happy.
The trip and cute outfit for the Doctor. His first ride out.

Sponge baths still. Waiting on my umbilical cord to fall off. Mom's can't wait to give me a real bath and watch me kick and play in the water.

He is saying hey mom how about coming and giving me a big smoochy right her on these perty lips.

Watch out, Grandma Martin has got her hands on her youngest grandchild. We need to get a stamp for his forehead that says spoiled. She love babies so much and the love just went beyond measuring capabilities. He is all hers in her eyes. She is so amazing with him.
